question What is an ARt on a MaP?
answer An ARt on a MaP is an art project and a one time legacy to a city or area which depicts participating businesses, non-profits, places of interest, parks and features the work of 6-12 local artists. The art project is exposed through various media in an interactive website, promotions and ARt Poster.
   
question What is ArtonaMap.com ?
answer ArtonaMap.com is an animated and interactive vehicle for the ARt on a MaP projects. It will constantly be changing and growing as the number one vehicle of exposure for all participating.
   
question iHow do people find out about ArtonaMap.com?
answer Internet search engines like Google, Yahoo and Ask Jeeves, and although they change daily rank us very high.  Also we promote the website & ARt Posters through ads, yellow pages, special events and other internet links.
   
question What are the benefits to merchants and /or participants in being on ArtonaMap.com?
answer First of all, those who do not have a website are getting the benefits of having their business info online. Second, those who do have a website are getting more traffic because of the excellent search engine rankings we get.  Therefore all merchants are getting  a lot of exposure through the Web.
   
question How long does the website exposure last? And is the info updated?
answer Originally merchants were to have one year of internet exposure. We have extended that and plan on keeping all pages active as we add new areas and ARt Posters to the project. There is no additional cost to the participant for the added exposure. The info is updated at no charge for one year. After a year, there will be a small fee for updates. Upgrades, additional pages and animations can be purchased as well.
   
question How big are the ARt Posters?
answer Anywhere from 18" x 24" to 28" x 40" , depending on the area.
   
question How much does an ARt on a MaP ARt Poster cost ?
answer Anywhere from $10 to $20  retail, depending on the size. Signed copies will be available at a slightly higher amount.
   
question Where can I buy an ARt on a MaP ARt Poster?
answer The ARt Posters will be available at most participating merchants, some art & frame shops / galleries, on eBay, through the ART on a MaP website, special events and at designated distribution centers.
   
question Are you going to be doing these ARt Posters every year?
answer We are going to continue doing the ARt on a MaP Art Posters, but we are only doing each area once. This will increase their collectible value. 
   
question I am an artist. How can I get my work on one of these ARt Posters?
answer E-mail us with a link or jpgs of your work and we will consider putting you on one of our ARt Posters.
   
question How many advertisers can participate on an ARt on a MaP??
answer On the average, up to 100, although the City of Wilton Manors, being the first, ended up having over 135.
   
question How long does it take to do an ARt on a MaP?
answer Normally the projected time will be 3 months. Our first ARt on a MaP poster was the Island City of Wilton Manors and unfortunately took longer because it became much larger & complex than projected and Mother Nature was slightly against us. 
   
question Are the maps available for wholesale purchase?
answer Yes, if you have a retail license and tax number, we will quote you prices with one dozen minimum.
   
question I am very active with the merchants and professionals in my city. Can I do an ARt Poster?
answer Contact us and we will discuss working together on an ARt on a MaP.
   
question Why not do an ARt on a MaP of the same area every year?
answer It would reduce the effectiveness of the ARt Poster. Also, with the addition of other cities, the networking will be stronger.
   
question Who is drawing the ARt on a MaPs?
answer Geri Konstantin, an internationally recognized artist, is drawing each ARt Poster
   
question Are the drawings originals or clip art?
answer All drawings are original.
   
question What is hidden in each ARt on a MaP ?
answer There are different objects hidden within each ARt on a MaP poster. Clues will be given and viewer incentives revolve around the hidden items.
   
question Who is Marley?
answer Marley is our pet Miniature Schnauzer. Marley will lead the hidden object searches.
